Foreign Riches
Precious Elodie is a celebration of natural beauty, slow craft, and the colors that nature so generously offers us.
We partner with local restaurants and vineyards in Chicago to transform food waste into stunning, lasting colors on 100% cotton and silk fabrics sourced from France and Korea.

Ellarie, Elodie
My childhood name is Ellarie, or Elodie — a French name meaning "foreign riches."
It's a name that has always felt like a quiet promise, a reminder that the most precious things often come from unexpected places.

Colors from the Earth
Ever since childhood, I found myself drawn to mixing colors from nature — mud, flowers, and grass — watching in wonder as the earth revealed its hidden palette.
Those early experiments, hands stained with berry juice and soil, planted a seed that would grow into Precious Elodie.
Today, I continue that same practice with intention: transforming avocado skins, coffee grounds, wine sediment, and rose petals into colors that tell a story.
Autumn Kim
Founder & Artist
I believe in slow fashion and mindful making. Every piece I create is a meditation — a way to connect with the natural world and honor the traditions of textile dyeing that have existed for centuries.
Through community workshops and collaborations with local businesses, I'm building a sustainable ecosystem that transforms what others discard into something beautiful and lasting.
Precious Elodie is my invitation to you: to slow down, to appreciate the process, and to wrap yourself in colors born from the earth.
